Gymkhana

The Gymkhana section of the college actively promotes extracurricular engagement by organizing cultural and sports events during the Social Gathering and Sports and cultural week. Students also participate in prestigious state-level competitions such as Aswamedh, Indradhanushya, and Avishkar, organized by the Government of Maharashtra.

Beyond state-level participation, students represent the college at national events, including Reverie, a cultural competition hosted by NDRI, Karnal, and the National Product Judging Contest organized by SMC Anand, Gujarat.

Guided by the philosophy of "A sound mind in a sound body," both students and faculty at the College of Dairy Technology recognize the importance of sports and physical activities. The college provides a required sports infrastructure, including a open playground for volleyball, cricket, and athletics, along with a dedicated basketball court. Additionally, indoor facilities for badminton, carrom, chess, and table tennis are available to both male and female students, fostering a holistic environment for personal and professional development.

Achievements

Three students were selected to represent the MAFSU, Nagpur among these, two players for Table Tennis in All India Inter Veterinary University at Bengluru and one for Kabbadi team in Ashwamedh at MKV, Parbhani for the year 2011-12. During current year (2012-13), 8 students are selected in the university team.
